Leonard Rosoman (1913-2012) was a British painter, muralist, teacher, war artist and relative of Thomas Rosoman who managed Sadler's Wells theatre in 1746. His work entitled 'Sadler's Wells' is featured on this bag, and is a multimedia piece created from pencil, acrylic paint and collage on canvas. The piece features ballerinas, boxers, circus artists and actors, and celebrates the variety of entertainment historically available at the theatre.
